MY WIFE HATE THE DEER HUNTING SEASON!!!

My wife hate anything to do with hunting ever since I moved to Central PA. That's all I talk about with my buddies and she hates it. I make sure everything she wants is there and with that she still get mad at me when I go hunting all day. Am I the only one going threw this? Please let me know that I'm not the only one with this problem.

My wife does not care for it either. Not hate it or gives me crap about it but makes it known she would be happier if I did not hunt. Or as much.
But I am one of those 365 day a year hunters. If I am not hunting I am planning for it, practicing, etc.
Its my hobby and she respects that.

The thing that sucks for her is that her best friend is a big hunter and now taxidermist too. LOL
This leave my wife a hunting widow and no best friend to hang with when Im gone. LOL

Her friend Jen has many good whitetails to her name and I let her hunt my property from time to time.
Yep just trying to build points, or should I say discounts, for my next taxidermy bill. LOL

I was just kidding around with my girlfriend the other day and told her "I WAS HUNT'N BEFORE I MET YOU AND I'LL BE HUNT'N AFTER YOU LEAVE ME!!!!" all joking aside she wants to go out next year and i'm pretty excited, taking her saugeye fishing tomorrow. I found that if you get them involved they get pretty pumped up too. Although i have had a few girlfriends in the past that would get upset that's why i think i found a keeper now cause she actually begs me to take her with me.

My now wife didn't grow up around hunting and I told her that if she wanted to see me during the fall/winter, she better start hunting or at least go with me. Didn't take her long to start going with me to film my hunts. She started shotgun deer hunting this year (after taking her hunter safety course this spring) and has even thrown the idea around of starting bowhunting.

My wife has never said to me that I couldn't go hunting! She just accepts it as part of life! We will have been married 40 years next June, so if you start them out right, you don't have any problem!

My wife accepted the fact that I love hunting. Now she hates it. She calls herself a single mother on the weekends. It's starting to get on my nerves. Big arguments and everything. I need to lay the verbal smackdown once in a while. I stayed in MN an extra 4 days, I think that is what did it.

My wife hates it too. A few years ago I just couldn't take it any longer and told her flat out that "OK, I'll quit hunting, if it will make You happy, but, I don't want to hear you complain once...not once, about me being absolutely miserable, and impossible to live with, come hunting season every single year, until the day I day".
She doesn't seem to mind now
