    Default Small, Medium, Large!

Well the opener didnt go to well for me considering i only saw 3 little deer, so my brother my buddy and i decided to hit the woods monday afternoon. Get in the stand at about 230 and at 345 i see a small doe working towards me in the field. She trots over to me eventually and thats when i decide that i might as well go ahead and take her. She stops facing me but the second she turns broadside BOOM!! straight down she went, with a spine shot( had to put another in her to seal the deal, i hate to watch them suffer). so then i call my borther anf friend and tell the story while theyre in their stands not seeing a thing LOL. I decide to move to another stnad we have on the lower part of our farm to see if i can get some more or maybe a big buck. So it takes me about 10 minutes to get to the stand and by this time its about an hour and 10 minutes till dark. So 445 comes around and no one has seen a thing when all of a sudden i hear deer running down my treeline ( im in a very tight funnel of woods splitting two soybean fields) i look up and here comes two yearlings just hauling down the trail. I mouth grunt to them to see if i can get a shot and they stop and start to actually feed around my stand so i let them stay without shooting, the button buck comes right up to the ladder on my stand at one point and still has no idea im there LOL. About 5 minutes later i hear a whole bunch of deer coming outa the thick stuff down the same trail. I look up and about 4 or 5 does are feeding towards me with a 2.5 year old spike dogging it behind them. Spikes are pretty rare around our area now because weve been whacking them good, so i decide to do the gene pool a favor and made up my mind to take him. Hes 15 yards to my right when i take the shot and hes down before i can eject the shell! Then i see an absouletly huge doe run down the hill in front of me. She stops at 20 yards broadside so i decide to take her BOOM! right in the neck she backflips into a tree! I still had deer standing all around me but i had only brought 4 slugs! Anyways its just a funny story because one: no one else even saw a deer and i got 3, and two:all three deer were one step bigger than the next like they came in sizes that your order LOL

    here they are:

    again:

and heres big momma, she was around 7 years old and had to be around 160 pounds, the biggest doe ive seen in this area:
