I do, and find it very useful. I've laid out the last two turkey seasons by it. I also use it for geocaching.

Never could use it until I up-graded the OS on this computer. Now when looking at new areas I throw in the GPS co-ordinates and take a peek! Only bad thing, some areas either have a lower resolution, or a computer drawing. Doesn't show up as well.

i've used mapquest, google earth and a bunch of others for a while now. I've got aerial images I've put together of every property I hunt. I mark were crops are and when they've been harvested or if still they're still there. I've marked sitings of good bucks, deer trails, deer sign, etc. The more info you've got down on that map the more things seem to fit together like puzzle pieces. lol also it's good for finding your way using land marks and terrain if the area is new to you. anyway, it's definately a great tool to have.

I love google earth and use it all the time. Great tool.

Have a look at this link. They may not have the "Birds Eye" view for your area, but if they do, it's awesome.

Google is good. But, I have found microsoft virtual earth beta has cleaner photos, or so I think. If you google virtualearth, you should find it.
I've been using Google Earth for the last couple of years and love it. I've used it for both private and public land turkey and deer hunting, and I'm using it now to remote-scout some elk hunting terrain for this fall.
My other favorite tool is a map making company that Guy Eastman of Eastmans.com turned me onto, Off the Beaten Path Maps. They will do all kinds of custom map making for you, for a fairly reasonable fee too. See: http://www.otbpmaps.com/

both are good...they give you a rough idea of landscape! The images need updated though...not real time.
Happy Hunting
I use the free version all the time. My home county is not included in Google earths satellite so I also use www.maps.live.com also.
Flash Earth is pretty cool too http://www.flashearth.com
Best part of google earth is that you can save the image of the area and print it. Hopefully the area is viewable. It is getting better, but still needs some work.
Yahoo and Google maps have satellite views as well as flashearth.
