I live in a suburban neighborhood, last night about 5pm I was driving by an area about 4 miles from the house, which is about a 30 acre open/wooded area. I see deer there pretty often.
Being about an hour of light left & the time of year, I pulled over, got my rattling horns out of the truck & went for a walk. I found a cool looking spot on a hill, wind in my face, so I did a quiet sequence, then about 5 munites later a bit louder one.
Within a couple minutes a big 9 point, which came in very aggressivly, and stood about 30 yards away looking for the fight, he saw me & bolted. I saw a smaller buck about 100 yards west circling downwind. After the 9 point left, I decided to move back to see the buck which was circling, there were 2 other small bucks behind which came from somewhere behind me..

It was a great hour, I need to go back with a camera, and I added a spot to my shed hunting areas. I want to find the sheds from that 9 point.
