Default scraps an rubs all around but wheres the bucks?

where my blind is located is about 100 feet in the woods where the ceders meet the oaks. i have 6 scraps in total all around me w/ 5 rubs around me also an have cin bucks there. the problem is ive seen mainly spikes, an all small bucks(not close to legal). in the same spot last year i killed a good 8-point an a good 10-point the year prior. i see an ungodly amount of does' each time i go an the wind is right to set there. so should i try to find another spot or what? i know theres GOOD sign there but all i c is the LITTLE bucks! so any ideas?

one word....Nocternal...thats all i can say. Even my trail cams agree....give it a little more time and they will be cruising around during daylight.

Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you have a good setup, the bucks may just still be moving mostly at night. Seeking phase should be about to start here real soon. If you are seeing does it is just a matter of time before the bucks start cruising the area during legal shooting hours.

Yup. A lot of rubbing and scraping (most of it) occurs at night. Read an article once that said some bucks will rub over 300 times a night!

I agree Nocternal is definatly right, I like to put up a dripper that puts scent out during the day only and hope you can lure him out during daylight hours to check the scrapes, this has worked for me and other people I hunt with
