    Default Southern Rut....

    is hot and heavy...I've been watching bucks chase does all week at work(at/around 1 p.m.).I've had 3 friends and family members shoot bucks this week that are chasing..Thank the Lord I get some time off so I can get in the game myself...Good luck out there this weekend!!

    I haven't really seen any pre-rut signs yet, around the Greenville-Spartanburg area.

    I hunt in Montgomery co. NC aloge the peedee river chain Drop tine and they just started pre-rut about a week ago here so it sould be soon for you, good luck

    I live in spartanburg and have seen several little bucks chasing already. Hopefully the big boys will be getting frisky here pretty soon.
