    Default Neat pic

This last Saturday I drove just barely into Missouri and chased smallies on the Elk River and Indian Creek. The weather/water temps/whatever had the fish holding and not eating, but we still caught a few anyways. Here's a pretty cool pic of me bombing a cast.

That is a great shot. Good framing and perspective. Very cool....

Nice pics. Never caught them but caught largemouths one state north. Good luck!

Just the opposite, it's frustrating, aggravating, and you'll spend half your time getting the fly out of trees.

If you're not losing flies, you're not fishing hard enough. Lost flies just give me another reason to tie more!

Haha, I agree. I was being sarcastic (a little at least).

I do enjoy it, but find myself quickly going back to ultralight setups afterI get my fix.

I think I have a slight addiction to the fly rods. I have 3 nice spinning rods and reels that I haven't used in about 3 years....

    Cool pic !!

From the amount of line you have behind you, it looks like you're shooting a pretty long cast.

I can't think of anywhere around here a guy could get that much line in his back cast without going monkey fishing.

That is a great pic. I've tried fly fishing twice and never will again. I can't even describe the level of frustration it provided.

Not a golfer Dan. I such at enough things without adding new inadequacies.
