Oh! I didn't know what the heck you were talking about.
I've caught several. They are probably one of the most abundant fish around here. One of my bigger ones was a 29" (not sure on the weight) when ice fishing when I was 6. I caught a 40", 20 pound muskie with tiger stripes, does that count?!![]()
Not a lot of catch and release around here, but we usually do. That why there are a lot of 20", 2-5 pounders caught.
Here is my biggest: Not a fat fish, but fun none the less and caught on 6 pound test while fishing for smallies!

Down here we call the Chain Pickeral a Jack fish. My biggest Pike I had weighed was a little over 26 pounds. I caught four other that I felt were bigger but did not have any scale with me. I caught them while stationed in England.

mine was 9.5 pounds when I WAS 5 YEARS OLD THROUGH THE ICE!!! BY MYSELF. Thats a true canadian for ya!
