Neiman Marcus Ice "shack"

I was watching Ice Houses on the Travel channel last night and saw the most incredible ice "shack" available from Neiman Marcus. For only $27,000.00 you too can have one! There is room to comfortably sleep 6, bathroom, running water and generated power, full kitchen, and for only another $10,000 you can have fine china and silver, 400 thread count egyptian cotton sheets, fireplace, and a plasma TV. Inside the shack are 5 gallon buckets with no bottoms where you drill out the 6 fishing holes and 'fish' from the comfort of your new neiman marcus dream shack! LOL

It sounded nice, but all I could think was how do you get that thing off and on the ice? And how much ice do you need to support something of this size???? I guess when I have the money to afford something like that I will also be able to afford to hire someone to do my dirty work.

It looked real nice, but I think I will stick with my little silver shack, I like a little "discomfort" with my fishing...the fancy shack seems like cheating!

Sounds a lil crazy to me! LOL If someone needs all that it sounds like they dont need to be out fishing and roughing it a lil bit! LOL

Sure would suck if the ice broke and that thing fell through! LOL

I agree, kinda gets away from the whole idea of ice fishing itself, but it would be amazing to be drinking some brews, watching the Super Bowl on your plasma TV with 6 of your buds all while catching walleyes. My dream right there.

LOL! I saw that program, pretty wild some of those houses... I think "real" fishing and hunting is braving the conditions nature throws at you, in my opinion,lol
