    Default found something better

i know alot of people use those senko worms but i found something that works ten times better and are about half the price. they are called Wave Worms and they have several different sizes.(tiki stick, bamboo stick). they have a very different smell and they are awesome. ive used both these and the senkos on the same day and caught more and bigger largemouths off of these. try em
i picked mine up at walmart. the bag they are in is kind of red with a tiki mask on the front

Wave Worms do work great for much less than Senko's. I use Strike King's 3X Zero's. They are about the same thing and work great too. You can catch a lot of fish off of one worm before it's trashed. I used a 3X 7" worm once in a pond and caught 18 bass off the same worm. They only come 5 to a pack but don't let that discourage you. You will catch a PILE of fish off of them! My tackle bag is full of them! Just don't use them against me in a tournament!

    Mike,

I've used them for bass only. I'm not sure they make plastic for crappie or other species. They make worms, lizards, flukes, grubs, craw worms, and the Senko style worms. They may have others but they mainly target bass I believe. I would imagine the grubs would work on anything. The thing about these baits is they float. You Texas rig a worm and it will float up from the bottom. You Carolina rig one and it will stay OFF the bottom. The Zero's sink though. They are just like a Senko. Give them a try. I think you will like them.

I have some Strike King 3x lizards, and they don't seem to stay on the hook very well for me. I generally just pitch 'em into some cover, and about every 3 times, I have to put the hook back in it. Do any of you have these problems??

I've never heard of these Sinko's, or wave worms. What exactly are they?

I fish a lot and at .60/each Senko's just got too expensive, especially when you usually only get one fish per bait because they tear so easily. Great bait without a doubt, but too much $$$. Last year I started using Wacko's, from a shop out in PA. They have a website www.wackyworm.com
It's the only Senko imitator I've been satisfied with. It seems like most of the others are considerably lighter than a Senko.
