    Default Getting that top water bass action itch.

    I love fishing my uncle's strip pits down on the farms. I get a lot of action with walking the dog on those pits with a Pop-N-R.

    Anyone else ready to catch some Larries!!

    Oh I love top water action! If they are bitting top water im useing them! I LOVe it! ITs great watching them attack a Lure!

    Too early for topwater here. Once the water temps get into the upper 50's to low 60's they start slamming a buzzbait or Pop'R then. Topwater action starts getting going around first of April here on average. Depends on how cold a winter we get. Right now a suspending jerkbait is hot with temps in the mid-upper 40's.

    oh yeah!! my favourite top water lure has to be the torpedo i have caught more fish on one of those things than anything else!! that and the pop R.
