They are freaking ridiculous. I posted several well thought out beligerant posts that contradicted their anti-hunting claims. Miraculously none of them ever appeared on their site. I guess they don't believe in freedom of speech. Read some stuff on their website, its incredible..."captive deer on a deer farm were sterilized using a sterilizing dart ....so, this would work in the wild, so, no reason to hunt. Or, hunters say they must hunt to control herds to prevent animals from starving but they don't shoot the starving animals, they shoot the healthiest deer. I guess they are environmentalists, not math geniuses. They can't figure out that the same amount of food for less deer means more food for each deer. Or....maybe they can figure it out but it doesn't fit into their agenda. I just get real irritated at extremists. GO HUNTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greg

I have tried to communicate with PETA and got pretty much the same response you did! I e-mailed them about the fast food campaigns they had that targeted children....all I ever got in return was a generic e-mail thanking me for my concern and someone would contact me very soon. That was over a year ago, so I don't expect a reply. They don't want to argue logic because they don't have any themselves!

I was fishing in a small farm pond using minnows. I caught a small bass, threw it back and caught again, and again and again.

I think that goes to show you how "smart they are", I'm sure they have complex emotions just like you and me.
