    Default First Musky of 2010!

We started off trolling around, nothing biting. So we tried casting. Cousin was jigging the fuzzy duzzit. Still no takers. We just got up to speed for more trolling when I had something slam my white guide dog.

For the locals near southern Indiana, we were fishing Bass Lake in the Dugger unit of Greene-Sullivan.

Here's the video of the catch.

Awesome fish, congrats! Musky fishing looks like a lot of fun!

Nice! I don't know how common they are, but around here it seems there's much more pike and every few years you might get a musky.

Unfortunatley, now we are starting to understand what the second quote means, and... what the first quote says about us.

Awesome fish! I hope to catch some of those this summer myself! Had one right up to the boat a couple years back and didn't have a net, put my hand around the back of his head and one head shake and run, that was the end of it. He hit a popper when I was smallie fishing, you'd think a bomb hit it. Snapped the line, ended up getting my popper back too, he was able to spit it out a few minutes after he snapped my line.
