The new ultra-light 5 shot 38's and a lot of the new 380's Like the Ruger LCP are fairly close in size. Which do you feel is the best for concealed carry and provides more for the size?

Personally I would rate a .38 head and shoulders over a .380.

If you buy cheap You'll buy twice
Don't really care for the .380, Its a get the heck off me gun and that about it. The .38 has been around and you can get loads that pack a punch.
i would consider the .38 first.
this is the one i have been looking at getting.http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/56881
I have a Taurus 85 and a CZ 83. They are about the same size and weight. The 85 holds 5 rounds of 38 special. The 83 holds 12 rounds of 380. Plus a magazine loads a lot faster than a speed loader. I still can't decide which one I like better.

Behold a pale horse, and he that sat on him was death and hades followed with him.
The chances of needing to reload in a self defence situation are just about zero - .0001%.
38 has a ton more stopping power than a 380
Luke 22:36 He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.
Was Jesus really a passivist?
With size being equal or just about equal I would go with the .38. As others have posted more stopping power.
