    Just wondering if anybody has shot the S&W 500 yet and was wondering what you thought.

    I had the chance to run some rounds down range with the 500 right after they first came out. The recoil is stout but not uncontrollable by any means.

    I thought I'd like to own one but now that the 460 is out I don't see a 500 in my future anytime soon.
