    Default Dan Wesson 1911

    I just got a great deal on a Dan Wesson Pointman. Has anyone looked at these?
    The fit and finish is great, the gun is very tight. Mine came with a match barrel and bushing and shoots 1 1/2 inch 5 shot groups at 50 feet with 230 grn Fed HBs.
    These guns are made in the USA and might give Kimber a run for the money.

    Unless I'm mistaken the Wesson frames and slides are made by Kimber.

    They are assembling a pretty nice gun. The only example I've seen was well fit and well finished. Never had the chance to shoot one though.
