Got my hands on a Colt Commando .38spcl this weekend. Looks like a 1940's production and is pretty clean. Some holster/handling wear , but the bore and cylinder look like it has seen little action. Anyone know what it might be worth?

That is a good looking pistol. I like the dark color with the Colt sign in the handle.
Looks a lot like the .38s the aviators used to carry until they issued us 9mm. I think ours were S&W though. Nice shooting little gun.

Well I sold the ol commando this weekend at a gun show. I picked it up for 225 and sold it for 330. Probably could have gotten more if I held on to it a while, but I don't try and get rich on one transaction.
