    Default Kimber Handguns...

I am posting for feedback on a Kimber handgun. I am an avid shooter and shoot three to four times a week. I mostly shoot a glock, but occassionally shoot a colt and a smith. Being in law enforcement, I am partial to the glock which is why I shoot that more. I have been getting into IDPA shoots recently and have been doing good with the guns I have, but you know how it is. I have seen alot of the guys using Kimbers, and just a couple days ago, picked up my first Kimber, and fell in love with it. Are they worth the money if you shoot alot? I know they feel good and appear to be a well balanced gun. Any info. from Kimber owners is appreciated. Wade

They are well worth the money. Mine will put 5 shots in 1.5 inches at 50 feet with my reloads. Fit and finish is second to none and they work well right out of the box.
If you get one let us know how you like it.

Atta boy!!!!!! I like a feller who knows a good gun when he shoots one!!!!!!!

As for the Kimbers.........I spent a little time with an Ultra CDP II one day and (bear in mind I don't particularly care for 1911's) I really liked it. It is an extremely accurate gun and very nice to shoot.

I like the Kimber firearms. IMO they offer the best factory gun out there.

This .40 is still very tight after many thousand major power factor loads.
