I have shot the Taurus .357. It is a smooth shooting gun, for the money. I am actually looking at getting the .357 for my dad. The trigger may not be as smooth as a Smith & Wesson, but that is why they have gunsmiths that know how to do trigger work.

Same gun I was looking at. As mentioned above it could use just a little trigger work but not a big deal. If you have small hands it is not the gun for you. the grips are alot bigger than those on the S&W or the Ruger. Comfortable gun for me but I have decided if I'm going to get one big gun, get the big one. i'm going with the 6.5" S&W .500 out of the pro shop. I liked the RB though!

I bought a Taurus Tracker .22 and was on the verge of buying a new Raging Bull .44 Mag when, at the very last moment, I stumbled across a nearly new Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag with less than 100 rounds fired through it, for much less than the cost of the Raging Bull, The Redhawk also came with a leather holster & two speed loaders in a leather belt mounted pouch, since I am of Scottish decent I had to save the cash & buy the Redhawk. Had I not stumbled into that deal I would of had that Raging Bull. Based on my experience with the Taurus Tracker I don't forsee any reason not to purchase the Raging Bull, I am sure you will be happy with it... .

I meant the Performance Center and not the pro Shop in my above post. I still have archery on the brain!

At one time it seemed like Taurus had a hard time with quality issues but it does seem that they have cleaned up there act some.

I've shot a few, they seem ok - I just can't get past the advertising on the barrels - kinda like buying a gun with racing stripes.

I bought it for my son for his birthday some time ago. It's his hog handgun. IMO, great gun and reasonable price. It seemed to shoot just as well as any of the competition that I've tried.

I have a Taurus Raging Bull chambered for the .454 Casull and am very satisfied with it. It is a large pistol and if you have small hands it can be difficult to handle. The accuracy is excellent and the knockdown power is impressive.

The Taurus guns of today are a far cry from what they were 10-15yrs ago. While they may not be as ascetically pleasing as some other brands, they do perform well.
