Went to the range earlier this week, normally I buy a box of Winchester 9 mm target loads cause I don't want to pay the gun store prices for ammo, anyhoo, for one reason or another I couldn't get to Wally World beforehand so I bought a box of PMC ammo to go with the box of Winchester hollow points. My question is this, when I was shooting the PMC's I noticed a considerable muzzle flash, to the point that while aiming the gun it looked like the flame was coming out the sides of the gun. While my fiance was shooting I stood back and to the side and watched the flare up come out 6 inches from the end of the barrel. Is this normal for PMC ammo, I haven't noticed it on any other type of ammo and it is a little unnerving when you aren't used to it.
