    Default A new addition.

    Picked up my Springfield 1911-A1 GI Mil-Spec yesterday from lawaway, been wanting a 1911 for awhile and had my eye on that model primarily for the price, right now I can't see spending more than I make in a month on a new gun but I am always looking. Anyhoo, I love the gun but I had no idea the disassembly was a little tricky, then you gotta put it back together. Oh well, practice makes perfect.

    My first Springfield was a mil spec, plain jane too. I would hate to think about all the cost of the ammo it has digested over the years.
