Put a few 38 special rounds and 357 mags through it last night--it was a blast, literally and figuratively. Now I need to figure out what to do with the sights...black on black isn't going to cut it.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness."
2 Timothy 3:16
Nice rugged revolver. Rugers are probably the most rugged piece of equipment I've owned. I never could wear one out and I've worn a few S&Ws out. There are lots of sight combos you can get. Actually the rear sight insert slides out and you can replace it with a white outline one at little cost. Or you can get a complete replacement that should fit tigher in the gun and not move back and forth which will help accuracy. But with all that said I use black on black sights on my carry gun (Kimber Ultracarry) and I shoot it sometimes at tuesday night steel and can still hit the targets in the failing light because I've shot it so much and know where it points. I score the same as when I shoot the Sig with the night sights. Just be sure to practice lots. Get some snap caps and dry fire too.
