Is Under Armour ColdGear worth the price tag?

I apologise if this has been discussed before.

I am curious about the wicking capability and heat retention of Under Armour ColdGear. The price tag is a little steep for long johns. Have any of you tried this stuff out in cold conditions or put the wicking capabilities to the test?

I definitely think Under Armour outperforms long johns when it comes to dryness. Is it worth the price? It’s hard to say. Is it nice to have? Definitely!

I have the heat gear and it is NICE! I am hopeing to get the cold gear for my b-day on wens. if I do I'll be sure to let you all know how it is.

I have used the all weather under armour during baseball season in early april when it's around 40 degrees. It works well but dont think it's going to keep you warm under all conditions. Im a big sweater so i like that it gets the moisture away from my skin. It's your call... you got 50 bones burning a hole in your pocket?

I've never worn the coldgear(own some, but haven't gotten to wear it yet) but the heat gear is great when it comes to wicking sweat off your body. Can't beat it.

I wear it for football games and pratice... cutst he wind and whicks swet really well.
