Buck Snort. Worth it ??

I tried the Apple scent last year, didn't help any, bought the corn scent the other day and am gonna try it out. Has anyone here had any success with it ? I remember reading somewhere that Deer will only respond to a scent that is natural to them, being as there are no Apple trees that I know of in NC, at least around here, that they wouldn't have responded to it, but Corn being abundant here they will be more apt to respond, on the other hand I had someone tell me that as long as the scent is appealing to them they should respond. What's you guy's take ?

Something that might be worth a try....Have you ever heard of Indian Buck Lure?
I tried some once, and had 4 does come in and actually start licking it off of some leaves I put it on.
Can't remember what it has in it, but they were really lapping the stuff up. But, that was a long time ago, when I decided to try to wait on a big buck. Had about 60 does within 10 yards of me that year, but all of the bucks came out at 60 yards. I don't wait on anything anymore these days.
I've noticed that lure at Gander Mountain, and have been tempted to try it again.

Yeah, I saw a bottle of it a couple years ago at a local outdoor shop, didn't buy any cause well, I am a little skittish about buying anything not " name brand " but a scent is a scent. I guess it all depends on what you were using when you shot a Deer, sometimes I think these secents don't even work.
