    You can just blow in it and get a sort of medium tone grunt. You can also press on the bands to make higher or lower pitch grunts. I'm thinking I can get about 5 different tones out of mine.

    Either way. I press the band once in a while. You're likely to get more respones from bigger bucks if you sound like an immature buck in it's area.
