    Default New Gerber carnivore bloodlight?

Saw this new flashlight in the cableas archery catalog Thursday afternoon. Looks pretty cool if it really works like they claim that it does. Supposedly it uses some sort of new patent pending bulb that shows up the blood in the dark, making it stand out better. Anyone else seen this or have any idea how well it might work?

Interesting concept if it really works....

The Gerber Carnivore Blood Tracking Light is a light designed for and by hunters. This is already one of the most requested items this Spring, even prior to it's release. Utilizing TRAX technology; an innovative design that takes calibrated multiple light spectrums that makes the red color of blood highly visible. A trigger swithc allows you to toggle between the TRAX system and a bright 45 Lumen Xenon bulb. Unique pistol grip and quick deploy 4AA battery cartridge allow for a comfortable grip and easy battery changes. Sheath and a lanyard included.

It's retailing for around $ 54.95 ,, I think I'll wait to see if it really works...

Cabelas has it in stock and has it listed for $49.95, but they do not have a page I could link to it yet.

Yep, that would be it. If it really works or even helps much, I wouldnt mind having one. I really have troubles seeing colors in the dark.

That's an interesting looking light for sure. Now if we could just get the company to use us as ginnipigs we'd be all set. Someone should tell them we give great reviews for great products.

Yeah, but what kind of blood trail do you have when you kill deer with your hands and a knife? I think you should email them for their latest knife Sherm, aren't too many goof balls out there that take deer on with their bare hands, eh?
