I'm going to be doing the same thing with a couple of old hay wagons that the wife's uncle farm has, and they have no use for.... I like this concept because I can pull these babies in for repairs and move to new locations anytime the heart desires....

    Good Luck, with your project....

Take some pics and post em in here. Sounds like a pretty cool idea.

I let the kids paint most of our box blind. I used an oil based barn paint for my base color, rolled on, and came back and swirled paint(greens, brown, and tans) in the pan and let them roll that on. Turned out pretty decent.

I used a green colored ondura roffing from lowes for our roof on our box blind. The stuff is pretty sturdy, and my roof is kind of flat. Dont have to worry about leaks.

Be sure to integrate some type of outrigger or tie down system. The flexability of the tires and frame could allow the blind to rock in the wind. This could lead to the whole thing tipping over.
My stationery 6x6 blind blew over this spring in a wind storm just because I didn't bother to finish tieing it down.

Zachmeier MFG of Mandan ND makes a similar product I have used for years. They make some fine fish houses as well.

Would definitely consider tie downs of some sort. We used 3 ft anchors on the corners of ours bolted to the legs after driving them down. Has been able to withstand some pretty excessive winds, but I still want to go back and put in some angle crossbracing.

If the roof is going to be flat or near flat I would not use shingles if I was you. I put a shingle roof on our blind, then had to go back and put the ondura roof over it.
