I have a Nikon ProStaff 3-9X40 on my .22 Mag. It is an AWESOME scope for it's price. I'm sure it would be a real dandy on a muzzleloader. If you want to spend a little more on a Nikon, don't hesitate to try a Monarch UCC. They are incredible. I haven't been able to shoot with one, but I've looked through them and you could have knocked me over with a feather.

My father just bought a Nikon Pro-staff for his 30-06. I have a Monarch on my 270. He told me the best thing he ever did was get rid of that Simmons!
