Default New Lone Wolf Ladder Stand

i got my archery catalog from cabelas last week, seen lone wolf had came out with a ladder stand, looked nice, and i was interested, until i looked at the price....$580!! i am sure it is a nice stand and all, i hear they make some great hang ons and climbers...but thats a lot of money for a single person ladder stand. if it were a 2 person, i could understand..but WOW. for that price, hopefully it goes out, finds a good spot, and sets it self up for you.

Interesting. That is pricy, but considering a Double Bull blind is nearly $400, I guess that isn't too bad for stand. I'd be really interested in seeing one. I can't believe how easy their hang-on's set up and how quiet they are. My other stands are Summit Head Hunters (over $100 at the time) and they are no where near as quiet as the Lone Wolf.

I asked LW if they would ever come out with a stick ladder and they said no because of the noise they make. This ladder stand must be dead quiet.

Have not seen those yet, I dont think. Will have to look through the archery catalog a little closer.

Even with steel prices where they are, no way I could see anyone being able to justify that much on one ladder stand.

I am a firm believer that the Lone Wold stands are worth the money. I have a hang on and sticks of my own and they are WELL worth the money. But like 520 bucks??? I dont know, it weighs 68 pounds, and sure it may be quiet and have a big platform, but 520 bucks! That is pretty high. Would love to try one though.

Found that stand in the cabelas catalog the other day when looking through. It is stackable which is different, that is innovative, but most ladder stands do breakaway. A 16 ft stand in most cases will have 4 sections that would allow you to use it ias a 12 ft stand or 8 ft stand by removing one or two sections.

For anyone interested in it here is a link http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/te...tand&noImage=0
