    Default Which ones??? Digital cameras

    Which digital cameras are the best for making home made trail cameras? Just about any cheap digital camera or are there specific ones that are better to work with?

    Hey Norm,

    I've got 2 with the Sony P32 that I like. The Sony P41 makes a great camera, too.

    Have you looked at the pixcontroller.com site? Lots of info there. Also, I'd recommend joining: http://realdealhuntingchat.invisionzone.com/index.php?
    Those guys are extremely helpful in building homebrew cameras.

    The sony's are all I have experience with and they are not difficult to build. Have one with a sony p32 here Norm, the rest of the cams I have built, I have used sony p41's. The p41's have become pretty hard to find at a reasonable price though.

    P32 and the P41 as mentioned above but the days of cheap prices for cams are long gone, cameras we were buying for $50-60 and now $160-180
