Scent lok base layers

do the base layers help with scent control? i want to get some kind of scent lok but not spend all the money on a full suit. so i was asking if it would help just wearing the base layers under my regular camo? thanks

If they work as they are supposed to they should as effective as outer layers. Just make sure and keep your outer layers as free of human scents as possible.

Some scent lok systems use liners that can be used with or without the other layers.

I would say yes the base layers work. When used properly that is. You also still have to keep everything on the outside as scent free as possible, and your body and hair. And wear scent free boots.

I do think scent lok works when used with a scent free regimen for everything. I have a full suit and try and keep everything as scent free as possible. I don't think I'll purchase another full suit though. You still have to keep the outside clean and scent free, and scent lok has a shelf life of about 5 years. Which I didn't know when I purchased it. Now I'll just buy the base layers and keep doing what I do with the rest of my gear.

I also think that Silver XP is the best scent eliminator spray that I've tried.
