i was walkin out of the woods last night in a new area and had to kind of blaze my own trail out in the dark. My fleece pants got plastered with little green burrs and they come off really hard.
Anyone have any tips for getting rid of these burrs???

I've always just used a small toothed flea comb to get underneath them and for the most part that works good. There are still the stubborn few that have to be picked out with your fingertips but it's the price for wearing them without using chaps.
Ducktape! It fixes everything!

I'd just assume it gives you something to do next time on stand...![]()

That little scraper that yall use to scrape ice off your windshield works on sand spurs and others in Florida. Stick the corner under the burr and flip it off.
Hmm, I could've used this information last weekend! Thanks for bein late with the posts guys!!
I walked through Burr Haven and wound up picking them off me for about 2 hours in the stand.

Whack em and stack em
I use the cat comb. Not sure about the green ones, but this year my pants got soaked walking out and I waited until they dried. The little brown burrs came off a little easier after being wet then drying. Duck tape sounds like a good idea. I'll have to try that.

I mostly just use a Knife, but have used combs, ice scraper, duct tape, and cotton... I usualy have a knife on me, so it's easy access.

I'd rather have it and never have to use it, than to need it and not have it!!
Steel brush like you use to clean a bbq grill. Works great!

To remove a burr from clothes with your unprotected fingers always exhale. When you inhale as you remove a burr your skin can actually suck in some of the burrs fine pins and then the fine pins will stick in your skin.

The cat comb trick sounds pretty good. Going to have to use that next time. There a couple weeks ago I spent an hour in stand picking them off me.
