    Default Deer Licks - Attractants?

We have salt blocks out year around, and sometimes we'll put out the Molasses blends and other such 'goodies' for the deer. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on those 'Deer Licks' that you see. Some say that for the fall they work better because of the smell. Anyone have any suggestions or experience? Thanks,
    REM308

Been using plain old loose minerals and dicalcium phosphate from american stockman and ragland this year and that works. Have used deer cane, and others, best results we have seen have seemed to have come from the trophy rock.

Here is what I did and it showed results. I went and got a salt and mineral block. Set it on a stump. Put corn whole way around it. And covered the block and corn with molassses. When I came back the ground around the stump was tore up and tracks all through there.
