Great point twodogs---killing two birds with one stone. Introducing young people to hunting and improving your deer herd at the same time. My first kill was a doe and I was just as excited over that doe as my first buck.

    good tip

twodogs2025 (Brian) is a great guy! I’ve talked with him many of times and will be visiting his place in December. That same week I will be at his place there will also be some disabled hunters that may have a chance for their first deer or just have a chance to be hunting period!! My son is blind and Brian has gone more then out of his way to point me toward the right people that can help me get my son hunting! I never thought my son (Shane) had a chance but now after Brian’s help and some friends of his my son will be picking up his first gun and practice shooting next year at age 6!!

    Thanks Again Brian!

That's a great thing you are doing Twodogs! I look forward to taking my kids hunting as well as some nieces and nephews when I get my property to the point where I consistently see deer.

You see a lot of that in Texas, especially on the big ranches that have to take 50 - 100 does per year. Sometimes there's a small fee like $50, but it's usually minimal.
