    5 point---the buck you passed on just might be your next 150 class buck in a few years--and you just might be the one to get him---but if you took him now you'd never know.

    that's maturing as a hunter---since you have the opportunity to harvest does for meat it only makes sense to let the young bucks walk.

    good job on your restraint---it will pay dividends in years to come

    Thats cool. Another thing to remember if you take the first deer you see every time, you may not know about the bigger deer that is making its way to you, that you have not seen yet. Patience in hunting can be very rewarding.

    I like to sit and look for a couple days before I even think about shooting....passing those small year and a half bucks is what you must do if you want to shoot him as a five year old

    I have reserved myself on taking a doe this year,,, and not worrying too much about the bucks.....Unless one really presents itself to me..

    i havent let anything above a six yet but i would if i saw a small eight or ten its just the only bucks over six i have seen were shooters in my book
