    Default Ready to Plant!

Got this tilled up the other day, and planted it yesterday. Rain is predicted here for the next few days.

All in all, 1/2 of it is corn, 1/2 is soy beans. This will bring in the deer, and pheasant, and the bunnies like it too.

Plot size is 68 paces long, and aboooot 50' wide.

Nice plot... I just tilled up about an 8th of an acre the other day for my turkey plot... unfortunately the chufa didn't come in until today so I couldn't plant before the rain. We did get our clover planted though.
How big is your tiller? I just bought a 42" land pride a couple weeks ago at an auction... wish I had a bigger one now.

    Yes, pheasant in Ohio.

Whiskey: I have a 48" LandPride. Best tool I have in my arsenal, well, that and my Kubota.

I'll trade you some gumbo clay for some iron sand!

When it's wet, I curse the clay, when it's dry I say "sure am glad that clay holds the moisture."

    Recognize that spot William?

Yep, so what is the neighbor planting this year?

Maybe you will have some luck along the pines this year.

    Same as last year--weeds.

Neighbor on the north (where the dead cat was) is corn this year.

These two pictures are looking south and southwest.
