i haven't tried it yet but i'm gonna plant some this fall, i hope it isn't to early, the guys on here will be able to tell you and give you some good tips but i don't have a lot of experience with annuals
Have not had good luck with biologic seed here. Seen it in stores, looked at the label on it and put it back down.
pa--I've planted the green patch plus before and I think it is actually a good blend of seeds. However--it was formulated as a cool season planting. The cereal grains in the mix (wheat and oats) will not handle the summer heat. I'm sure it will germinate just fine depending what your soil temps are right now but when the summer heats hits it will die out. However--you might get a month or so of forage from the grains.
The brassica should germinate just fine---deer don't find them very palatable during the warm months but if they don't mature out then they should still provide you some good forage this fall.
The annual clovers in the mix, with enough moisture, should do fine.
good luck

Good luck. I have never had good success from Biologic products.

thanks dogdoc I talked to a mossyoak consultant today and he said it should be alright but im not to sure about his knowledge. He didnt even know that there were wheats and oats in the mix. As for the brassicas, what happens if they mature out. Can I mow them to keep there hiegth down and maybe they wont mature.
The only 2 Bio Logic stuff that i used were, Full Draw and New Zealand Clover Plus. We usually plant the clover in the spring and Full draw in the fall. Last year the full draw turned out great in the fall. Let us know how it turns out.
I've had good luck with the biologic product's. Here is a picture of Green Patch Plus I took while leaving one of my treestands this fall. Green Patch Plus has a very quick and relatively short growing cycle. It is really designed to be planted in the fall. This picture is 18 days after planting. We did get some real nice rain...

That looks pretty nice, but did the deer really eat it. My experience with the full draw here was that the deer just wouldnt eat it.
Yeah,
The deer seemed to like it...I killed a doe over this particular spot. I saw quite a few deer in my plots!
