need help

I planted tecomate monster mix and was wondering if any one knew what I could use to kill the weeds but not harm the clover or chickory. Also I have lab lab planted on the out side edge of the plot and early on the bugs started eating the first set of leaves but now more leaves are comming in and I am afraid they will kill my plantsWhat do I spray to stop them anybody know. Thanks

you can spray 2,4DB to kill your broadleaf weeds in your clover--it may or may not damage your chicory. I didn't want to take the chance so I just spot sprayed the weeds with 2,4DB. If you have grass weeds then you can spray Poast.

A good insecticide to spray on your peas is liquid sevin. It is very effective and also very safe for wildlife.

Would go with Todd's suggestion on the weeds. Have been using permethrin as an insecticide here in our garden and elsewhere as we need it, works better for me than sevin, and does not clog.

I agree with William and Todd. If you mix sevin, make sure you use the whole batch because if you let it sit for any amount of time, it does tend to clump in the sprayer, and it will clog your nozzles like William mentioned.
