    Default Summer plots in

Planted a mix of sorghum, cowpeas, and what was left from a bag of lablab plus from last year. Got finished and back to the house and half way done mowing the yard when it started raining.
Here is the first plot, same spot we planted the lablab plus last summer, where my oldest daughter and I watched 5 bucks come out of on the youth hunt. She shot her buck in the field to the left of the first pic from the blind in the second pic.

A view from the other end. The oak to the right just before the field starts saw a ton of scrape activity during season, still seeing tracks under the limbs frequently.

Last year I planted the lablab plus in mid July, it did fair, did not much rain right after planting. Lack of rain here right now is not an issue, hopefully the peas will get plenty of moisture with the river bottom so close. Hoping right now my seed is not getting flooded or washed out. Have picked up at least 3 inches since yesterday. The pool was to the top of the skimmer this morning, and has rained a considerable amount since then.
