    Default i have a qeustion

    i was wondering if any of you guys use the trophy rock for deer. and if you do how good dose it work. and if you use any other licks in your area that will also work in ohio.

    Have used several different commercial mineral attractants and have mixed my own. Trophy rocks work really well. Just put one out here yesterday.

    how well do they work. like if you have acorn trees around will they go to the acorns frist then the trophy rock or will they start going to the trophy rock instead of the acorns.

    You are talking two different concepts here. Acorns are food, minerals are minerals. If a deer is hungry they will not stop at minerals. Acorns here are so abundant most years, that once they begin to fall the deer do not have to look to hard to find acorns.
