    Default Winter plot progress

Took some pics yesterday of the plots while I was out. First plot is a little over a month old now. The wheat and rye put down to keep from erosion down the hill has done really well. First three pics are of the mini plot close to the river. Dont think it is getting enough sunlight in a few places yet with all the leaves still on the trees down there, but where it is getting good light, the growth looks to me to be pretty decent. Just behind where I am standing in the first pic is our 1 acre hamann farms trefoil clover plot.

    A closeup shot

Second winter plot was planted a couple weeks ago. The brush pile on the right side has been used as a bedding area by does in the past. My climber is hung on the left side about 10 yards before one of the main the trail that cuts from the woods to the brush pile. Got a blind for rifle hunting back up the hill a bit that gives a good view of this plot.

looks great William. With the warm temps right now you should get a lot more good growth.

Nice looking plots! Great job, hope they work for you.
I really like your planning and thoughts to the erosion issue. Good stewardship!

The second plot has really come on, had a little buck feeding in it last night for about 10 minutes.

Was not too sure about the brassicas mix after the experience with biologic, but looks they have already figured out this stuff from Martin is food.
