Got my plots done finally!!!!

After some VERY hard work I finally planted 1.5 acres of food plot on with my ATV.

I planted a 30x80 rectanle strip of oats, a square 40x60 blend of clover, chicory, peas, vetch & the last part is a 30x50 plot of shot plot that fingers back in the woods a little.

My only problem now is rain. The soil was some what moist this past weekend but it doesn't look like any rain here until Oct 14th. Is there anything I can do to help with germination other than do a few rain dances?

i hear if u turn your clothes inside out while doing the rain dance, it really improves your chances

LOL. Yep, lots of things I have noticed here to increase the rain chances. Water the lawn add water to the pool if you have one, water the garden, or spraying insecticide on your garden. Pretty well all these things will dramatically increase the chances for rain.

It poured rain here all day Sunday & its still drizzling this morning & still cloudy. My plots should really take off now!!!!!!!

OK you got rain. Do you get any sun down there?

It bright and sunny today, the high will be 83, tomorrow will be 85 & more rain is expected this Sunday. Things are looking good right now.
