Two years ago I got lucky. When the farmer was harvesting his soy beans, the combine broke and was spilling shelled beans into the field. He didnt realize it until after he made a couple passes. The rest of the season.....that spot was killer. But Im guessing they will still use the field as a travel source. Not sure though.
Hey thats an old farmer trick for baiting..LOL works every time!!....OOOPS!!
yeah my friend takes a couple bolts out of his combine when he harvests his corn so that it leaves a little extra LOL
The deer will still eat out of that field. Once that one is out the next one will be coming out as well so nit is only a mater of days before they are all harvested. I wouldn't change a thing.
Would think they would continue to use it until all the food is gone or until they find something else.
deer love green soybean fields howerer after a killing frost i have found they they tend to move to acorns if they are avialiable
Yeah, I see them browse around in cut fields, more corn than beans though.
