does any one know if peanuts are very nutritional for deer (during the summer when the plants are growing)?

Have heard they love peanut grass. Pretty sure deer would eat peanuts too.
I have never grown a peanut in my life, and perhaps never will. But almost all legumes are good feed for deer when the plants are young and growing. I'd be surprised if deer don't eat peanut plants, at least in some situations. Always depends what else is available, etc.
There is a type of perennial peanut now, also. Used for forage production in the south.
