Sure do. There are several ways but this is the way I prefer. Stick a shovel in the ground just ouside the plants predicted rootball. Tip the shovel up as if you were going to tip the plant on it's side. This is exactly what you are going to do. Leave one side of the rootball attached to the ground but allow the rest of the plant to lay on the ground. The ground under the snow will be either just above freezing or just a tad below. You can't have any ice damage nor wind damage either, the snow insulates the buds from the cold. Do this NOW!!!! lmbo
Hope your roses look great next year!!!

We just mow them down closely before the first frost. Next year they pop up again healthy as ever.

Does not get cold enough here to worry about doing any kind of prep work for winter to them Luke. I just trim back and prune the old blooms like I normally would.

Roses around my home were a sore subject for a while.
Shortly after I mowed the lawn one time my wife gave me all kinds of H... for mowing down her roses. I swore I didn't but got into more trouble as I tried to deny mowing them down.
Finally one morning I awoke to hear my wife screaming at something. I went to see what was wrong and saw the three deer she was hollering at in her rose bed. Sucked to be them. I finally got off the hot seat!
If those roses curled up and died, oh well!
