There are a lot of articles and advice in magazines today about how hard it is to get access to land now compared to the good ol days. While I appreciate the wisdom of years gone by, doesn't one's preceding reputation make all the difference? If you were always there for your neighbor (as people were in the good ol days) isn't it easier to gain access to their lands?

Tennessee is that sleeper state when it comes to managing property for wildlife. Because of the terrain, there are still a lot of white oaks and unmolested stand sites you can't get to on an atv (or it would be hard). I collected a crop of acorns and intend on planting them in Florida. Has anyone got advice on where to plant the seedlings once they are ready?
