Would plant a variety. Might try a clover mix in one of them, like the hamann farms trefoil/clover mixes. Would put annuals in the other plots. Peas and beans are good spring/summer annuals.

I guess I was lucky when it came to putting in food plots starting last year. (it gets addicting so becareful, its all I ever think about now ) I had some people that were in the same geographical area that I am who had been putting in food plots for a few years with great success. The first thing that I would do is see if anyone around you has had anything that works.

After a little research I decided to plant Evolved Habitat's Provide, which is a clover chickorey mix on 3/4 of my food plot and the other 1/4 of my plot I put in Evolved Habitats Shot Plot which is a brassica mix for the colder temps. Both worked with a great deal of success and you could plant both of them with the equipment that you have very easily.

You would have both warm weather and cooler weather seasons covered with that.

I am in the biz, so to speak in E. Ky (Morehead) myself and would be happy to give you any advice you might need. Feel free to drop me a line.
