    Default hunt/fish??

Any good turkey hunters out there that are interested in catching some steelhead???. Im a horrible caller, and none of the areas i hunt are very turkey friendly, so anyone want to put me on a bird and I'll put them on some world class fishing??

I would love to swap a turkey hunt with you but I'm guessing it would take me 8-10 hours to drive there from here and that's just a little too far to go fishing.

You're more than welcome to come to western NC with me if you want to drive. Your chances are 50/50 on killing a bird but I can guarantee seeing and calling birds, they are just a little call shy and reclusive.

carbonhunter, you really are not that far from some good turkey areas. A couple hours drive at most. If it wasnt for being there for my kids I would be glad to help ya out some. Maybe we could still try to hook up anyways and see what happens either this spring or next year according to our availability.

We can talk about it at the Maumee River

If your interested in Calif., we have a very large population of birds in our local area. Liberal limits, too. 3 toms in the spring and either sex in the fall. No tags, just a license and upland bird stamp on your license.

Rios around my house and some Merriams up in the high country, though I've never had a need to go after them.
