Default It's an official new record!!

If anyone had told me I would have been swatting mosquitoes in northern NY on March 15th, I would have told them they were nuts. They were out in force last night!!

It's going to a bad year for bugs and ticks. I've even already seen a few bees flying around the yard.

I had them buzzing the other day. I went to retrieve some steps from a tree that grew around them in a season. Needed a hammer to break them free. It felt like i was in the middle of August. It seemed like everything budded and popped out in the hours between noon and 5 o'clock.

Gonna be a real bad year for them here, dunno that the mosquiteos here ever really went completely away, but yeah they are pretty bad here already.

Hearing people are already having problems with ticks around here too.

In a normal year, I would never see mosquitoes till May.

Got my first 2 skeeter bites on Wednesday the 14th. It's going to be bad this year.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Yeah I couldn't believe the amount of bugs hitting the car coming down I-81 this evening!

BTW Joe, we pulled into Adams, NY to McDonalds for a quick bite to eat on the way down, would have gave you a call but still didn't get a PM reply confirming your numbers. We'll try and stop in on the way home.

Tick crawled across my boot while I was working on fences here yesterday, Christina got back and had one attached. Gonna be a real bad year for crawling and flying bugs here.

I had a bug free weekend cutting wood. I am expecting a bad year with bugs in the Catskills. I don't think I taste good. Ticks seems to leave me alone. Mosquitoes love me.
