Anyone else used or use sevin for peas or beans? Talked with a rep at garden tech this morning after having looked at the label on a new container of sevin I picked up but have not used yet this year. Noticed that green beans were not listed where I thought they used to be. Turns out sevin for fresh peas and beans use are not approved anymore at all. Only approved for use with dried beans and peas and the wait is 21 days.

Thought for sure the previous instructions inside the pullout labels always said it was ok to spray once a week and fresh beans and peas the minimum wait to harvest after spraying was 7 days?

Rep said for the new label epa would not approve for use with fresh peas and beans and all she could tell me as to the only possible reason why it used to be ok but is not now is that they may have changed the formulation. Looked up the powder version of sevin and the label for it still says 3 days to harvest for fresh peas and beans.
